SPRINGER GOES AUSTRALIAN

First ever turnkey project in Australia
In partnership with our Australian representative ACORA, a SPRINGER log processing plant, including screw unscrambler, butt-end reducer and log-turning unit, was handed over to our customer AKD SOFTWOODS in Colac, Australia, just a few weeks ago. After debarking, the radiata pine logs are sorted according to diameter to 16 SPRINGER sorting bins. The control systems, along with the 2D and 3D measurement stations within the plant, were supplied by our partner company MiCROTEC.

NEWS FROM RUSSIA - UVADREV DEPENDS ON SPRINGER

Just recently Springer received the order for the installation of a log sorting line in the Republic of Udmurtija. The contractor is the Russian enterprise Uvadrevlesprom Ltd. The new plant is designed for an annual log capacity of 350.000 m³. Delivery is planned for June 2012, assembly and commissioning are to begin during the summer months.

Optimaler Durchlauf

Der von SPRINGER entwickelte Wurzelreduzierer Taylor kommt bei den Kunden gut an. Die Stämme werden bereits direkt bei der Rundholzaufgabe reduziert, das ermöglicht bessere Durchlaufzeiten und eine optimale Lagerfähigkeit des Rundholzes. Der Einbau ist in wenigen Tagen möglich und ermöglicht einen Produktionsbetrieb mit geringen Störungen und einem höheren Anteil an sägefähigem Holz.

Aktuelle Beispiele sind der Umbau bei der UPM Sägewerksgesellschaft Steyrermühl sowie der aktuelle Umbau des Rundholzplatzes bei Hasslacher Hermagor.

NEW LOG YARD AT THEURL HOLZ

The enterprise Theurl Holz in East Tirol (A) has invested in a new log yard in order to optimize operations on site. For this purpose it was necessary to replace the planning hall which involved undertaking extensive earthworks. Theurl Holz has been a faithful client of the Springer Maschinenfabrik for many years.

SÖDRA inaugurates new sawmill to increase productivity

The new sawmill is one of the largest and most modern in Europe. The log yard and the lumber sorting lines of the sawmill are made by SPRINGER. The whole plant had been in use for the Klausner Group in Adelebsen/Germany for less than a year before its relocation to Sweden.

DUAL FORK - NEW STACKER WITH HIGH PERFORMANCE

New stacker with high performance

It’s important to meet the ever increasing power flows in production within the stacking field. For this reason, we are now presenting the new DUAL FORK stacker from Springer: a concept with a 50% higher performance limit. The mechanism is as simple and low-maintenance as possible and enables up to 34 handovers per minute – with variable stacking widths. The DUAL FORK is particularly suitable for high performance film sorters and planer mills.
