SPRINGER lumber sorting systems are used for pre-sorting immediately after lumber leaves the sawmill or for post-sorting after lumber has been dried.

To meet individual requirements for the post-sorting of lumber fresh from the sawmill and after drying, SPRINGER has designed a variety of lumber sorting systems that can also be used in combination:

  • single-board-layer trays for gentle transport of boards within the sorting rack and to the packaging unit
  • horizontal or inclined multi-board-layer trays
  • bins equipped with live bin bottoms and soft drop arms for a wide range of lumber types

Packaging lines:

Specially designed transport systems and machinery ensure quick, reliable and economic packaging of lumber. The PASCAL strapping press is the centrepiece of every SPRINGER packaging line. It stands out by delivering high productivity while requiring little maintenance and it is currently the fastest strapping press on the market.

From slow cycling speeds to high-capacity sorting units – we will be pleased to design a lumber handling plant that fully meets your needs.
